All the staff were very frenidly and helpful.
we stayed in room 24 overlooking the quay. beautiful room comfy bed lovely big bathroom excellent rainfall shower.. All staff polite and friendly.highly recommend.we loved the breakfast salmon and scrambled egg.
Excellent facilities and efficient staff ensured a relaxing stay in an interesting and charming small town.
The room was excellent, large and spacious, elegant in a modern style, very commfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Large bed but split mattress, too soft, not a great nights sleep. Restaurant excuded quality but food a bit disappointing. Casual bar looked good and would have enjoyed breakfast more in that room.
An excelleny hotel in a central location of a medieval town. The food was high quality and contained an interesting mix of flavours
We were very well looked after by polite, friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and the en-suite was very modern with a large shower. Dinner in the restaurant was easily equal to a decent London restaurant. The service and food were excellent. The surrounding area is very quaint and restful. All in all a nice way to escape the stresses of city life.
I liked everything about the hotel, the reception area was attractively furnished the restaurant was lovely and it had a very nice bar area. Our room was very nicely furnished and the shower was fantastic.
There were no biscuits in the room.
My wife and I were able to relax and take it easy, without having to drive around .
Parking was a problem at the start
Bright and airy. Food very good. Breakfast staff particularly cheerful and helpful. Bathroom nice and large. Only complaint, duvet much to thick for summer!
Duvet as expressed above
Great room with character and a lovely view of the river. Super breakfast with attentive service and fresh local produce.
A member of staff noticed that my husband was finding the stairs difficult and tactfully suggested that we might prefer a ground floor room. We much appreciated their thoughtfulness and were helped to move immediately.
The rooms are quite simply excellent, the river view room we stayed in had views along Sandwich quay and to the barbican, the restaurant food and service was delightful the chef and restaurant manager should be especially complimented for the quality of food and and attentive yet unobtrusive service.
The Bell Hotel was very very good ,we especially enjoyed the live Jazz. Our meal was very much gourmet feast. Thank you
Location is good and the hotel is idealy situated.
Bedroom was nice but the bathroom was a bit tired and needed a bit of attention.
It is convenient stop after the channel tunnel following our drive from Basel, Switzerland. We also like Sandwich and the hotel is centrally located. Breakfasts are included in the room rate and very nice. Rooms are clean.
Can be a bit noisy at night as there is no double glazing so traffic can be heard and also the church bells late at night and very early in the morning. Our en-suite bathroom was very small with just a shower.
